You may be wondering, can natural hand sanitizer really be effective? We turned to the CDC for their input regarding sanitizing agents, and then formulated our recipe based on their scientific standpoint. Their recommendation is that hand sanitizers should contain at least 60% alcohol. The grain alcohol used in our sanitizer contains 95% alcohol and each bottle contains 62% alcohol by volume.
In addition, we chose essential oils that have proven antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial, and immune-boosting qualities. Aloe vera juice and coconut oil contain not only disinfecting properties but adds moisturizing elements to keep your hands from drying out. It is recommended to always choose hand-washing over sanitizing when available, but this sanitizer is an excellent substitution for when it’s not.

How to use: Coat hands evenly with 2-3 sprays of sanitizer. Rub thoroughly over all surfaces of the hands including in between fingers. Rub hands together vigorously until product has dried.
Due to the high alcohol content, this formula can be drying to the skin if used frequently. To avoid irritation, we recommend the use of an additional moisturizer. Our Green Rescue is formulated for dry, cracked, and chapped skin and has antiviral herbs to boot!
Bonus: use this spray to fight germs on surfaces such as shopping carts, door handles, light switches, and even your kitchen counters!
